[email protected] I am very excited to have the opportunity to teach your child this year! I am a proud graduate of the University of Illinois. This is my 6th year at Westgate. I taught 2nd grade for two years and this will be my fourth year teaching 3rd grade! I grew up in Arlington Heights and attended Dryden, South Middle School, and Prospect High School. When I am not in school, I enjoy watching sports (Cubs & Blackhawks), traveling, and spending time outdoors (snowboarding, paddle boarding, running and waterskiing). I love being a part of the Integrated Services program and being able to teach with Ms. Redmon! |

[email protected] This is my 21st year teaching in Special Education. I taught for my first year in a third grade classroom in Missouri. Since then, I have been working here in Arlington Heights. I started off at South Middle School, but quickly realized that I belonged in an elementary school. I have been working in the Integrated Services program for the last 18 years. I feel very strongly that our program does amazing things for students by allowing them small group instruction as well as a lot of integration in a supportive, comfortable environment. I am very proud to be a part of this program. I grew up in Arlington Heights and attended the public schools here in District 25. I went to Windsor Elementary, South Middle School, and Prospect High School. I currently live in Palatine with my husband, Jay, my 5 year old daughter, Hazel and my 2 year old son, Gus. I have really enjoyed teaching 3rd grade. It is such a transitional, growing year for kids and it is so much fun to see the changes that they go through. I am looking forward to a great year with our class! |
